Today

Today should be a great day. Its friday. A new challenge over at PAPER CUTZ. I used Sliekje's stamp to make this card.ButIm haveing such a bad day. Its my Dads birthday. Some of you may remember he passed away April 13, 2008. Its been okay but this year is really hard, I have some really hard issues going on with my mom and I think that just make me miss him more. I will not be on here today, but I will return on Sat. I think today Im going to watch some oldies and believe it or not I may let myself cry. I miss him so much and he was so great.Handsome guy hey! He served in the Navy during WWII and Korea. He worked at The Milwaukee County Hospital for ever. He was from Cudahy, WI. He could cook! HE was so funny. He loved with all his heart. He LOVED GOD with ALL his heart. I take solace in knowing he is with him now, where he always wanted to be. His fav color was blue, he smiled and laughed and sang and danced. Loved his family, spoiled me. He was my best friend, we could fight like cats and dogs on min and the next cuddle. He loved clean movies and music. Oh he had a love for the Mire cats on Animal planet. He was telling me about them once like he knew them. He told awesome stories, hard working and strict- but VERY loving and forgiving. Trust me on the forgiving part. Well I just want to say love those important to you and let them know. Our last words were- I love you dad, I love you to kid.

Ahhh, sweetie. I understand your longing. My dad's been gone for 10 years and it seems like yesterday. What a lovely way to keep his memory alive, by sharing your memories of him with us. Bless you!
