My DH works for the City's DPW and yesterday one of his friends and fellow workers died unexpectedly. I needed to make a card for all the men to sign. I looked all over the search engines for sympathy card ( handmade) to get an idea. Well not many at all could I find. I came up with this and felt I needed to blog it. I really love the rich paper of Juliette. I like the cross. Since it was for a man from men I really didn't want to use flowers. I would hope no one would need a card like this but realistically we will.
So glad you decided to stop by. I have lots of ideas and plans. I love crafting of all kinds so you from Card Making and Crocheting, general crafting to Sewing, maybe some Cross-stitch and Jewelry Making. Please enjoy and leave comments. Hugs~

This is a beautiful card--quietly elegant and appropriately muted. I like the fact of no extra embellies. I'm sorry your DH needed a card like this, but you came through big time for him.
I love the cardstock you choose. Very elegant but perfect for a man. Great job!
