As usual I forgot to take a photo, lol. But then I took other ones of things I had made and well when my computer went down... I need to start to do daily backups. Remember when they had a cassette you would use to back them up. You had to use a different one every other day because it would rewrite on it. Wish I had one of those. lol I guess I need to learn how to do that with my new computer.
I promise I will be back soon with something I made. I did make hand soap, that was interesting. I like it. I made some rhubarb, strawberry thingy yesterday. Its like a topping but I wanted it smoother so I put it in my food processor- I DO NOT suggest you add the whole thing at one time- what a mess. :)
But my husbands gramma is one smart cookie, I wanted to thicken it, I thought knoxx right. nope she was like use strawberry jello- oh duh! so I did. Yum! no measurements so here it goes: rhubarb - enough, strawberries- what you haveish, 1 box strawberry jello, about 2 cups water boil, blend, chill, eat. But taste it first, need more sugar add it. the jello is sweet so...

It has been HOT in the Milwaukee, WI area. I mean 100+ for about 4 days. I know some of you are like pfhatt, well we get all 4 seasons here and 80s is hot for us. But were getting a break, today and for the week its in the 80's which feels so much cooler. the A/C is getting a break for now and the windows are open. the only cool thing about heat and no rain is no grass cutting. lol

Hi Helen! How nice you get to enjoy the best of all seasons! We are barely struggling to get up to 20 degrees C with I think is around 70. My poor cucumbers I think will have to be dug up and brought in in the fall just to get a couple to eat! LOL
This sounds so yummy! I love strawberry-rhubarb crisp! with whipped cream if available! My boys and one of my daughters just eat the rhubarb out in the garden. Thankfully the boys have learned to take all of the leaves off before they start eating. YUM
