I made this hat but I think I want to add earflaps on it. I think hes cute.

He was fun to make. working on another one now. I got a pattern and had to rewrite it cuz its written very poorly. To me and my friend its so not a doable pattern so … I just noticed the nose is crooked.lol sure sharpen the pic and see your faults. ha ha.

I have the memory of a goldfish. SO I write everything down- doesn’t help all the time but… My hubby came home from work and asked if I could make a card for his friend. Then said what kind. I guess they think its funny to make a card calling him the name his jerk boss does. So being a good wife I did as asked. I think I may send along another card incase but he needs to take it tomorrow. So this is what I made for this.

Tis the season for coughs and sneezes. last week we made cards we hope that pleases,Their feel better, get well soons, cuz we want you to eat with more then spoons.

Ok- my poem was lame but what do you expect? you should know me by now. lol

This week let see if I can come up with a better one.

Cows and chickens, pigs and sheep, roosters that crow and wake you from sleep. Hay and feed and things that go moo, we love our farm animals from Bugaboo!

Class was supposed to be last Sat, But as the Ladies settled in her son runs in and tells her was was in an accident – he was fine- but the truck…

Any how we did it this week. The ladies did an amazing job on their cards and some learned a new technique.

Sorry the picture is so bad. they were BEAUTIFUL in person. The one with the dog was made by a 12 yr old. She made the dog house herself. AMAZING right! They left the senti blank until they decide what the want them to be for.

Im so not sure what these were called when I was young. You know when the dinosaurs roamed. lol

I thought this would be a way for my teen to have her hair be the way she want- up or down but keep her a bit warm. So I made this. I just measured her head and the width. this is what I came up with.

I made the flower then went around with eyelash stuff to make it fuzzy- cute hey? easypeasy and fast.

I have been doing things but I ALWAYS forget to take a photo of things before they are gone. Almost ALWAYS.

I made a few pages- more of the 2008 Disney trip- I think I’ll get them done by 2018. lol

I think if Katelyn would have been acting like Dylan this would have been funnier but- that my Kate.

But either way my kids are a riot and awesome!! Well check back tomorrow for some more things, Maybe I can show you the ear band thingy I made Katelyn. She wears it instead of a hat to not crush her hair. LOL Teens.

Sympathy cards

I have run out so I had to make some for our needs. But I really like how these turned out!

This one was made for my daughter to take to school for kids to sign. I so love that image. I think it’s a place called Leaves of Time.

This one was made with a TAC digi stamp. And a regular stamp. So miss them. This one I really liked and made it fit in a regular envelope, the personal kind. That makes you use a bit more card stock but the envys are easy and cheap. lol

This one I made in a half hour. I was going to enter it in a challenge on SCS for Sweet N Sassy but I could get it on. My fault. I had a Cocoa colored and I planned to use it but it didn’t go how I wanted it to. SO I printed this one, colored it with markers and made the card in a half hour. I am going to replace the image with a new colored one. Hes cute but not as cute as he can be.

SAD DAY

My 15 yr old son and 14 yr old daughter had a 2nd suicide at there school. In Oct. there was a Junior girl who hung herself. Now on this past thurs a 14 yr old boy my daughter became "friends" with last year has killed himself. This poor child had a rough life, had some problems and was bullied.

I don't pretend to understand why someone would go thru with it, I feel kids really see no way out, adults know better but I still dont condemn.I feel so sorry for the people who are left, the people who feel the pain left here from the person who felt that was all.

Im so saddened by any death that was sudden, no good-byes, no whys. These kids will not have the fun and enjoy the events of life- whether they suck or are amazing and truly life gives you both. He was bullied and I don't know about the girl but I know she ended her life because of a boy. Why? Why are people looking the other way when kids are mean or people are mean? Its not fun to be bullied and as you mature you know your views change. This world is in such a sad shape, babies die because of co-sleeping, people are dying because of drunk drivers, and drug dealers. Kids killing themselves cuz the "love" they had is gone? We need to wake up, maybe no trip to Disney this year But spend more time talking and getting to know our kids, family and friends. Tell the ones you love that you do and show them, parents living alone? take 2 mins to call or visit. If your life it so busy that you can't? time to revamp. One day you will be the old person, alone, that your kids are too busy to see.

Please pray for the family of this young boy, that they may find some peace in this. That they dont turn on God, Cuz its so not God's fault.

Im so glad im done with this blanket, I had to have my friend Becky do a row of the edging cuz it wasn’t making sense. The blanket itself was easy peasy, but the border is odd. LOL but its done. This would make a great Christening blanky.

This year has gone so fast I can’t believe its gone. (well almost)

I know I have been absent a lot lately and ma very glad for those who still follow or subscribe to my blog. I am constantly working on things to show you.

I had to make a simple card for my husbands boss at work. So I used a sticker for the front.

I also had a lot of blaze orange yarn so I made a hunters ear flap cap.

And we celebrated Christmas on Christmas eve (last night) so heres a few pics.

I had a craft fair I had to make so much for. If you’re on facebook you can find me and my things HERE. You can see some of the items I made for it.

So after neglecting my wonderful card friends for a while and of course my duties as owner of For Fun Challenges I feel I have to make it up. I couldn’t find the images for the challenge of today BUT I have MANY of Mejens images so I felt I could do this however I could as long as I follow the rules. So I made this gift box. I found the pattern on my email maybe today from Split Coast Stampers. Thank you Julie. So The first one I wasn’t paying mind. I used velum- which would make it a luminary Of which I made for the craft fair so habit… But then I made this one for the challenge.

I used all Meljens images to make him. I think the snowman himself is truly adorable!!! You should check out all of the new images they have/ are getting. I think they are adorable. Here are a few things I have been making for the fair and Christmas.

The Blue one is adult size, the snowman is my own pattern and is for a child 2 yrs or less.

My gorgeous daughter modeling my scarf. lol Well I guess I haven’t taken a photo of everything yet. currently working on another scarf. I also have a ton of cards. But I would say about 90% you have seen. The other ones you wouldn’t want too. lol Ok. I hope if you celebrate Turkey day you have an awesome one. If not- start- really when is NOT a good time for turkey. LOL. We all have plenty to be thankful for. If even its just making friends like you!!

Went for a ride today. It was ok for a bit then it got hard but then we made it home and it took a bit to unwind. I thought you would like to see some of my town.

A poor man lost his life on this ship last night. Very sad.

This bridge is a swing bridge. The trains can travel over it and it can move so ships and boats can get through the river.

Ok and we complain about the Japanese bighting beetles? Be grateful they arent this big. lol Looks cool though.

I am looking this up as I type- cuz shame on me for not knowing right? Well I didn’t find this one but I will find out about it.

I don’t know what building this is but it was near The Fonz statue on the River Walk. I thought it really made it look better there. Something to look at not just a plain building.

The reason we went downtown Milwaukee today. There is so much to see and do.

This is a church that belongs with Marquette College. Im sure I should know about it but…

They started adding Christmas décor I think? I saw these and thought the looked cool. My poor husband- trying to drive with his wife going “oh look at that” or “oh- over there”.

I had my son take this – today is NOVEMBER 13th 2011. The is a VERY accurate temperature on the top of the Allen- Bradley building.

This is a statue at Cudahy Train Depo/ historical society. You can go here and see a lot of things about Cudahy, WI. All around it had bricks with names, I think I need to ask about getting my parents name there, My dad grew up here, I grew up here and my kids too. Generations of Pride!

THis is no surprise if you follow my blog. I love clouds. The sky was so wonderful looking today, High winds and warm weather im sure gave us this awesome show. Hey that reminds me of some pics hold on be right back.

Sorry the 2nd one is blurry it was cold out and wet and I was barefoot as usual. All I can do is Howl- right. Our neighbor called and told me to look. Hes like your heads in the clouds so I knew you would appreciate this. I did- reminded me something right out of a horror movie. “ Cuz this is Thriller…”

I hope you enjoyed a jaunt through my town. These were taken from our Van while driving. So much more but if your going to fast and well Im not able to walk all of it so we drive. But its fun. My husband and I take turns telling our kids about things and what was and is. Maybe you’ll come to visit one day. These are things I have been working on for the craft fair in Dec. So im not here so much. I have paper crafts and crocheted items and made things. Here are a few for you to look at.

This weekend we were running around on Sat doing non family togetherness things. So on Sunday I decided we would be a family.

We went for a ride and found this spider. Had to take a picture. Its on HWY 32 next to the Butchers Block.

When the kids were smaller we used to go to a place called Swans Pumpkin Farm.Just off HWY G and H Well we wanted a pumpkin and a ride so we ended up there here’s some pics from that day.

Okay so sometimes I slack I will admit. Maybe I just cant focus, or feel like uck! big time or just screw off. Any how- I worked all day on this between cleaning bathrooms and kitchen and…

I love this I found it originally at- The Stamping Place. Thanks!

But I needed to tweak it. I wanted a card on the back and made it smaller so you could send it. If you flatten it to the right you can fit mine into a A@ sized envelope to mail it. I will add the measurements here for you.With my version you only use 1 sheet of 11x 8.5 cs. plus the card. (forgot about that) You don’t have to have a card on it. I just wanted to make it that way.

ok- First I used a Rubber Necker Stamp- Dalmatian with flower I had a fetish with Rubber Necker a while ago and bought MANY. LOL I just saw they have many many more cute ones. Hum.

I used The Angel Company’s “eclectic borders” on the cover, the grass is from a Penguin Pants stamp set. The dog house is a sizzix die cut. Flowers down the side is just flowers- no idea.

I used markers and color pencils to color the dog. Oh yeah I forgot. I used a paw punch with 2 sided tape and glitter . its cute. I like this one better then the scarecrow one I made.

I used a sequin behind the brad to hold the flower on, sometimes the hole it too big so I used a medium sequin for it.

The 3D layout is made this way:

Cut 2 pcs. cardstock 6.5” x 4.25” score each end at 1”

Cut 1 pc cardstock at 2 1/8 x 5 5/8 score at about .5” it would probably work better in metric but I think I had to cut it again like a 1/4” smaller on each side.

Cut a pc of cardstock at 4x 8.25 fold in half – when done attach to back.

Decorate it, assemble it

I love Wednesday wanna know why? Wednesday means its almost Friday, Friday means 2.5 days with my awesome family.

My kids are no longer small children, They are 14,15 and 23. That means I need to make things different for holidays. So for my adult daughter I made a goodie bag that I will put one of my handmade bracelets in for her for Halloween.

We are Christian but we do party it up for Halloween- the harvest end of it- well and we do LOVE horror movies. We hand out candy to Trick-or-Treaters, usually decorate MAJOR but this year heating will be bad enough and our Governor is mean… leaving it at that.

So I made this –oh yeah we have a sponsor at For Fun this week- one of my favs BUGABOO. I made 3 things for this challenge so Ill show you them for the next 3 days. This is my first one.

To make this gift bagish item. I cut a lunch bag across the top with a decorative edge, taped the bottom edge together and decorated it. Very simple and easy. Makes like a envelopeish item.

The challenge this week is to make something Halloween and NOT use colors, 3 to be precise, black, orange and purple. Pretty tough for Halloween, I hope you like him and hope you join in on our challenge.

I made many cards and things lately and my friend Kym yells at me cuz I make stuff and never post so Im posting.

I woke up WAY to early one day and I was opening the house up, the weather was nice so I was a bit grumbly. Well God offered me a gorgeous morning. This is the view I get from my kitchen window. I really did stop to take time to appreciate it. I think I said “thanks” too. I don’t think you can really see it but the sky was purple and orange- GORGEOUS!!

Ok on to my cards-

This is a Dustin Pike image. I got it a long time ago, It came in a 3 pack. One with a camera, this one and , and um, hum. Hold on. a painter DUH I think I would forget my own name except its in my wares. lol This is marker colored.

This is a Sliekje image. I SOOO love her work. I don’t know if you looked at her other work but she is a very talented artist. You really should check out her 2nd blog. This is colored with markers and color pencils. I flocked his hair and flowersoft the flowers. Glazed the balloon. and I think his band-aid.

I have been crocheting and painting too. I will see you soon I think in Wed. at least.

I didn’t do this weeks challenge but I have a really good for it. I have a craft fair coming up in Dec. First weekend I think and I have a million things to get done between now and Christmas. I have been doing every week or so but…

So I have made things. here are a few.

I will add handmade cards to this for a gift. I took someones idea I need to find the link for it.But I tweaked it. I added chipboard in between the top 2 purple cs so it was very sturdy. I think if I were to make more I might think about adding it on the pink part too.I used a penny black stamp. My friend barb has many, I have learned that you can scan it and change the size of things to fit what you like.

The cover I used my slice machine to make the flowers and greenery. LOVE my slice. the inside is a paper adventures sticker and another from??? the stamping is done with versa mark and TAC stamps. Gosh I miss my TAC.Same set different stamp. I think they are called swirly gig. I used sharpies and bic markers to color this.

Lets see what else I have done.

This was made with a old SU stamp. I think he is adorable. I used the ivy stamps from some I bought YEARS ago on a shop at home channel. Colored with markers.

This is made with a fun Bugaboo image, Then I added wiggle eyes to the kids. I used my slice to spell out Happy birthday, cut out the presents that are stamps. I was making a step card but it didn’t work so I made it a A2. Colored all it by markers – sharpies and bics,

This is another old TAC stamp. Its all from the same set. I think its called bee cuz. I made the “b” paper I like this technique. you can make 2 card if you color 1 whole image. Markers again, This was fun to make.

Hoppy Birthday Mannie

My husbands cousins fiances birthday is tomorrow. Well as many of you know- I make a card for any reason. “you took out the garbage- yea- heres a card” ok so its an obsession. Consumes MUCH of my time. BUT- that’s ok. Well as good as my intentions can be- I confess I am usually late. Not because im not thinking of you or working on a card just for you, bet it was done a month ago. Im late because I loose track of days. Not ‘cuz im ill or anything that would cause it. Just because I do. Try as I might. Doesn’t matter.

So Mannie’s card should not be a surprise to you. lol I had an awesome idea at Easter to take a Bugaboo image and make an awesome card. Well then I was like “no Easter should be a Christian card…” SO- I had colored about 30 small bunnies and 12 large ones. the sat in pieces for a long time. TODAY however I am in a rush to get Mannie her card – her b-day is tomorrow, she lives in TX- by her birthday, I have a fighting shot IF its our regular mailman.

My Favorite Time of Year

My favorite time of year has to be fall. I love the smells- crisp air, warm pies, hearty stews,YUM! I am lucky to live in an area where we get all 4 seasons- ok some are really short and some are really long- but all 4 none the less. I love that the trees change colors, we get so many colors just like this background. So the challenge this week at For Fun is for Leaves. Today is my anniversary

I have this really handsome wonderful man that actually was brave- Asked me to marry him. Well of course I said yes.

Ill tell you the story of how we met. We worked together at a restaurant. We were teasing each other and one day while putting away stock he grabbed me, pushed me against the freezer and kissed me. lol I tried to push him away at first but I liked his kiss so- almost 20 yrs later were still together. We had kids, bought a house, got some dogs, and are living happily ever after. We have had our share of hard times but the good times prevail so we decided that we work well together, so here we are.

Well right now were feeling the bad economy so I made him a card, cooked one of his fav dinners- UCK – and I hope tonite I get a backrub. He gives really good ones- no don’t ask im not sharing. lol Sorry.

I have a friend who is just getting hit by life. It happens to all of us and boy oh boy do I thank God that it doesn’t hit all of us at the same time! We need our sane friends to help see us through the not sane times. Even if it a hug or card or call or…

I have this friend who took in her neice and nephews and has had them for a year so far. That is hard. Its different if you get a baby, you get used to it but taking in someone’s kids who have other rules? yeah fun. Well she has had a sick dad and and sick her self and stuff and life and… so I made her a card to maybe give her a lift. Guess what? it worked, BUT not only did it give her a lift I got one too from her telling me she loved the card and thanks for the thoughts. That’s the cool thing about giving. She lives a few blocks away so I hand delivered it. This is the card.

I am having such a hard time with the For Fun Blog. The side bars disappear if I have more then 1 post. I don’t get it. Anyone have a clue? I live in WI and fall is coming. Thurs were supposed to have a high of 62. lol LOVE it!

This weeks sponsor is Digi my World. She has given us some awesome images. I chose a cheerleader because of the 12x12 sheet im making out of 4- 6x6 mini pages. I’m doing football of my son. He is such a HUGE sports fan, I mean a MAJOR sports fan. He can tell you so much about all. LOVE it. He wanted to be a sports announcer when he grows up but… So now he’s thinking of something else.

So imagine, I made a mistake. I know hard to believe. LOL This is the card for the challenge. It’s a color challenge.

My dear friend Pauline (yes our Pauline) wanted me to feel better because I have a body that hates me. She sent me this gorgeous bracelet. So now I wear it every day. It says Believe,Courage, Strength and has a heart. I have to tell you Sunday was Sept. 11 and all over the TV was a reminder of the awful thing that happened 10 yrs ago. It changed the world. Well Alan Jackson has a song called “where were you…” Anyhow he uses a biblical phrase “the greatest is love” Its so true. Pauline met me on line- I think it was because of For Fun, maybe just before I don’t remember. But she is always there to talk to to vent on to cry to. She has her hands full in her life- like you would not believe. But she always try’s to make everyone feel good. Im so thankful for her.

So we had some trees cut down in the front of our house and our neighbor I think this is why. Also the world is so messed up- we all should be looking up and praying. Anyhow- I found more gorgeous clouds.

My son plays football the team cuts their hair into a Mohawk. This reminds me of the 80’s remember the really tall ones with the colors- wow. Ok so this is his.

I didn’t have any excuses as to why other then I forgot to take a picture of my kids on the first day. But- Maria wasn’t here so on Labor Day I took one. Guess Ill have to do that. Now – YES she did graduate BUT she is a teacher so…

Aren’t they such a beautiful group? My daughter and her fiancé brought a watermelon here and Chris was cutting it- brought me a piece, handed it to me and I said “awe- he gave me his heart” cute right? This was just how it came out.

I know- long post. But you’re getting a glimpse in my life. Here is a pic of me and my awesome hubby. I hate having my pic taken always have but I do now for the kids.

This is our Stella- she’s a bit plump. The only one not on here today is our Petey. Maybe Ill add it later.

Just when you forget He reminds you

Its easy to forget when going through a lot that God is there and in control. He does remind you and if you’re paying mind you’ll notice. I try to be faithful, not worry about most things- I do rather well on this- but days that my body hates me are really a test of faith. Had one of those – probably still in it, lol- So my Almighty Gracious God sent me a reminder that he’s here.

I was asked by a neighbor to make a Birthday card for her to give her friend.

When Im sick it’s hard enough to breathe somedays. Well she wanted a dog for the image So I used one from arts for craft. A little Westie- adorable. I was sitting on the floor in my office searching for decorative paper and the right card stock. Looked out the window and saw the most amazing clouds. Wanted to share them with you.

To me it looks like someone painted them then took their hand and smeared it. What do you think. I think I have a cloud fetish, guess that comes with looking up.

Today is also my son’s birthday. I really can’t believe he is 15. Gosh this time goes so fast- no too fast.

Here he is with his younger sister at the Zoo a couple of weeks ago. I really am a lucky mom. My kids really are amazing- not just because they are mine but they really are awesome. They have their days but we all do. Thanks God for such an wonderful family!

So I have these wonderful kids. They really are amazing. Don’t get me wrong- just like I can do to them they do do me- drive me nuts sometimes. But they are so awesome. I just thought you would like to see them from June.

I love to print or stamp- depending- at least 2 images at a time. I can have a good idea and then it not work out- or I really have this thing for layering. WELL- I do like to stalk blogs and learn things. I don’t see many people and most don’t craft so I have to rely on all of you- my internet friends to teach and share with me. I do love you all!

So I saw this thing called spotlight, honestly cant give anyone credit ‘cuz I really don’t know where I saw it first. Then someone (love you) came up with reverse spotlight. GREATEST ting for a FAST card. Well because when I get get a fetish, I get obsessive image? SO I started to make the reverse cuz it less coloring BUT I had a bunch of colored images/stamps so I used some of those. DUH threw away the left over, well not any more. I made 2 cards identical except for the stamp.

I have a friend who does a monthly swap. This is the card I made for it.

I used a TAC set called Hedgehog Happiness. Color pencils and markers made this cutie a card. 3 different papers 3 different card stock oops make that 4 including white. and a ribbon. I did also use TAC’s stamp set A Thousand Thanks. Well Enjoy this!

I can’t tell you how much we rely on things until they aren’t here anymore. I haven’t had ink all week- no biggie really because I own a LOT of stamps, I also have a plastic shoe box full of printed images. So really I can make cards. But maybe not the ones I should. lol

I missed this week due to an cut in the image I did but I will do it. In the mean time I hope you have been enjoying the cards I have done. Don’t forget to check out my TAC blog I have cards and projects made with just TAC images there.

This is a Bugaboo image, I personalized it. lol The senti is TAC. It just dawned on me I missed my mother-in-laws birthday- NOW wait! I did send her a card, but while I was making this I thought I would make this for here birthday in a couple of days. LOL it was last month. I did send her card and made my hubby call her so don’t yell. lol I just thought of it being my hubby (her oldest) and his dog Toby when he was little. Trying to touch heart strings. The year is going fast so I guess I wasn’t thinking right. come on am I the only one? I colored it with color pencils and oms, the stars are velum. DP is DCWV slabs.

This is another Bugaboo image. The background is a stamp from TAC called squiggle bugs. The senti is TAC also. I med it so the ribbon stays off the card.

This is a stamp I bought from over seas. hes so cute. When people here ask me where I got him and I say things like Scotland I laugh cuz they always say “you and that computer”. lol He was bought at Funky Kits. Just looked and can’t find him. I was a few years back.

So ok Ill admit I have this thing for Jodie’s images. Bugaboo I do have lots. I want to purchase this line. Maybe this month. My Katelyn and I have a thing for Harry Potter. The kids went one day to see the last one last week and enjoyed it. Sad to see it come to and end, I love series kind of things you really get to know the character and with the movies we watched those kids grow up. Well anyhow my baby is going to be 14. Wow I truly don’t know where the time went. She love lime green and HP so “The gentle giant” from bugaboo was perfect for the card.

So glad my future Son-in-law doesn’t read my blog. I think. lol My daughter is having a surprise birthday party for him on Sat. He can use some time to relax. When I printed this image a while back (and I always print 2 at a time) I like the image. I believe it is Bugaboo. Cute though right? Well I like him so I made a card for him.

I made this one with glossy paper and a stamp from TAC. I liked the clean look of it by only coloring the border. I hope you like this one too.

I used the Toucan from our sponsor this week. I colored it soo cool. But as I was cutting it out I cut the head clean off. lol So I went to my printer to print some more (since I layer it) and well, Im out of ink.

So instead I decided to post a picture of the art my daughter made for the room. I think its pretty cool! Please let her know what you think.

Katelyn is 13 and like to do artsy kind of things. I have shown you cards her and maybe her friends have made. So here is her picture:

She used all the neon colors she had. It goes well with her room 3 of the walls are white and 1 is lime green and the inside of her closet is lime green too. So this and some bottle stretch thing she made are fitting so very well in her room.

I think my husband is a pretty cool guy. Not only do I love him but I really do like him too. Ok not every day, but I'm sure he feels that way too, but they seem to outweigh the not liking. lol So every once in a while I try to show him I really appreciate him. I don’t think I do it enough sometimes. Well anyhow I made this card for him.

I wrote a personal note to him on the inside. Placed it on his dresser and he seemed to like it. I made the life saver LOL with a 1” punch and a smaller one inside added the stripes. Then wrote our own name on it. I think it turned out cute. I layered the bear- you know I have a fetish. lol I wish I knew whose image this is I think its just color pages. BUT if you know please let me know- ok

Well ok in Wisconsin it is. We have a wonderful break from the heat (90’s) right now. Which I must say I appreciate. HATE being hot and sweaty just sitting.

Over the weekend I made some cards. It was hot outside, UCK!!

We tried to eat outside for supper last night but the little gnats were all over us so we had to come in. LOL it was too hot to eat out anyhow.

So when I feel sick I color

love to color when I feel like UCK! I usually can’t do much more so I lay and color. I don’t think right so I cant crochet or follow any pattern for cross-stitching. So all I do is color. I have a shoe box FULL of images I print up and cut up to color. I usually do 2-3 of each so I can do whatever with them.

Well I made some cards with some of the images I have had in the done box. I use clamshells for the different stages. Colored, colored and layered or glittered and … So when I feel well I try very hard to use them to make cards or? but many many times I forget to post them or even photo them. Sometimes The printing is 2 or 3 days after I found them in my files and I forgot whose they are. I try really hard to give credit where it is due.

So I colored these and had them laying around and they just spoke to me to do them so this is what I did.

This one is for one of my friends Mary, she loves kitties big time. One of the rentals on our block had this woman and she moved- LEFT HER CAT- came like a month later looking for it. Well in the mean time- Mary took it in , made it well and well I wouldn’t have given it back either. Too bad we can’t do this – legally- with children but I think my hubby would have to lock me in with no phone to stop me. lol

I know this first one is a coloring page - Garfield- how cute he is. I decided to make the stars

It’s a lift your spirit card. She has her first of many chemo treatments today. I hope she did ok and not too sick. I wont pester her. Sleep is needed.

Today is my friend Barb’s husbands birthday. So I made this card for him.



This is 2 Gina K images and a senti. I felt like something simple I should have added sand on the bottom of the card.Oh well next time.

First to let you know- I have a friend, Julie. She has just found out 2weeks ago that she has a very aggressive form of breast cancer. It was 2 weeks ago at 2.5 cm, now 6.5. They were going to do a mastectomy but now have to try to shrink it with chemo first. Please include her in any prayers you may say. She has a 14 yr old daughter and is a really sweet person. She has had a rough time lately: divorce, dad dying, mom moving into a home... She is just 40. If anyone would like to send her a card to lift her spirits- email me for my addy and Ill get them to her.

I love Storms. When I was small- like most kids- I was afraid of the loud noise and shaking of the ground. Well my Dad, like most men, had no fear. He taught me that storms were something awesome and wonderful. Now-a-days, they seem to get mean and ugly but can still be beautiful, if they’re not to violent. Well Tuesday into Wednesday were supposed to have some hard ones- so im posting early with a time set of midnight,

This week at For Fun we have another sponsor- TLC. I have a lot of her freebies. I used 2 of them to make todays card. I thought they went well together. I don’t remember how I found them but I did and this is what I did with them.

This weeks challenge is a recipe- 2, ribbons, 2 colors, 1 senti and 1 image

Here is my card.

I used glitter in the paw punches, a slight color in the background of the cats. That’s it. I hope you like this simple card.

This first card was for a friend of Katelyn's. They had a slumber party for the end of the year. I made this using stamps from Gina K's set called"Sporty Accessories" by Melanie Muenchinger I have used this set a few times before. I mixed the old school with the new school colors for the background. I now have all high school or older children, shame im not aging. LOLThis is for my daughter for another classmates party. I guess its a big thing to go from Middle school to High School? Anyhow. I have a TON of stickers and I NEVER- or rarely use them so I used a pair of shoes and a Rubber Necker saying to make this simple card.
This cute little box is made with stickers and a stamps from The TAC set"Delightfully Spooky" I know I know- ok for those of you who don't know this set, I cut off her wings. It is a set where the kids have costumes on an I thought she was so cute so I cut off her wings. So now she is just a girl and not a fairy. This is a little box like a gift box ro maybe 3x3 cards,

So when my computer was sick, I had to use stamps or digis I had printed. Well I knew I had an awesome pirate digi but not having use of an electronic device I had to use what I had. So...

This is a Dustin Digi, I layered it and sponged a background, colored the image with markers. Im thinking it turned out ok. It was fun to make.

Im finally back after not having a computer for 3 weeks. :( But now I have a lot to catch up on. LOL

I did work on things while I had no toy, I crocheted, I sewed, I STAMPED. Ok dont get me wrong- LOVE digis but with no access to a computer I blew the layers of dust off my stamps and had so much fun. I will post several times so you can see what I

did.

These book markers are for my daughter's teacher.

They are made with TAC stamps- 6 set actually:

Words came from: seeds of blessing, I thought of you today, and um, hum I cant remember the last one. I sponged the back grounds. I used markers and color pencils for these images. I used memento ink to stamp the images. If you haven't tried it yet, I recommend it. I was using staz-on and it was fine but this is better and you can remove it. (from fingers, lol)

I have not gotten lazy, My computers hard drive crashed. It is getting replaced as we speak and my files are hopefully getting retreived as we speak. I promise I will be back with LOTS of things to show you. Im lonely and miss you guys and all your wonderful work. See you soon,

Wow we had almost 120 players for last weeks challenge. I thought with Mothers day no one would be around to play, but I was pleasantly surprised. Wow some really gorgeous projects too.

I know I told you I was coming back with a card I made for last weeks sponsor but with internet and computer issues- well we have all been there. I had life happen too so... I will post that card under this weeks.

This week is soft pencil for the sponsor.
The challenge is a sketch. So this is what I came up with-
ok I know his eye is all wonky BUT its stuck. LOL I tried to make it move and I can't and I didn't notice until it was dried. I told ya nuts week. SO I hope you still think he's cute. I think I like it a bit more with the stray eye. hehe. Well I really hope you join in on the challenge and that you have an amazing week. Im sorry that I dont have a post right now. My day is one of those days.
Woke up to a beautiful sunny day. Opened the shade on the window in my office and knocked over the vase of flowers my darilng husband bought me. Ok no biggie right pick them up, refill it...
oh no- spilled over the top of the 85 - three layered owls I colored for my daughters graduation. The image for todays card. oh yeah all wet- paper and water dont mix.

So this is my card. I worked 2 ish days on and off for this. I original saw a card using the stamp or one like it a LONG time ago. I took out the 2 stamps so I could make the card 'cuz I thought it was cool. Well since I have the memory of a turnip I can't remember where, who or what so I couldn't even look it up to remember what I saw so...

This is what I came up with. I used chalk, ink, sponges, color pencils, oms, ribbon, and card stock. The stamp is from Penny Black- I cut off the word. The saying is a stamp I bought off ebay. I hope you like it.
This card was made with a digi that I lost the file and name too. It was under misc because the cd I have of it was before I fixed everything. So if this belongs to someone let me know and Ill name it. The words are TAC. I had fun making this card. It is again with an 4.25" x 11" card stock, scored at 1.5,3," then folded it in half. I like these a bit of wow without the headache. LOL

Ok so this week were going "green" not the color though. SHow us how you can recycle things to make a new something. I think I might play with this all week. There are so many things you can do. This is my project.

First I used an image from Phindy- she is our sponsor this week. I colored it with color pencils and odoerless mineral spirits. Then I took an Easter card we got from my husbands gramma and grampy, cut the beautiful frame from it saved the flowers on the inside and framed the pretty image. Oh yeah I I sponged the background. Then I took a gift that were doing for his grandparent- I take pictures for the year and send like a year in the life for Christmas. - Anyhow I decorated the box by using newspaper and glue then sponging it. Attached the now card to the front of it. SO not only is it a giftbox but now a card too. I like it. I think its cute.

I rearranged my craft room today so im tired. Im going to soak and go nighty nite- I hope you decided to join in with us this week. Have a great nite/day!

This week at For Fun we are having a challenge for Easter. Im preferring that it be a Christian but we had a sponsor this week and received bunnies so I guess it is just and Easter challenge. Show me an Easter card. I made Easter cards this year for some of my closest friends or family, here it is.
I have no idea whose image it is. It was a place with all pencil sketch images. I can't even find the file I had it in. figures. The words are TAC. Simple card but I think its beautiful.
Inside it says:

Ok first I NEED to say today it has been 3 yrs since my dad died. I hope this gets easier, soon.

Ok now I made a card for our challenge over at For Fun this week. Its a color challenge-
pink, purple, green, blue and yellow- you MUST use 3.

I was able to use all 5 in coloring the image. I used 3 to make the card. So here it is.
Meljen is the sponsor this week. You can win 4 images from them.
I used:
sequins with glossy accents on top to make it look bumpy.
colored with pencils /oms, and markers.
the words were printed on vellum using word or printmaster.
Love the card style- easy peasy lemon squeezy-
cut 4.25 x 11
score 1.5, 3, 7 now remember im in the states so its inches. lol love you all in metric land- ill learn one day.

This adorable puppy is Stella- no not like a streetcar but like "Stellaluna" a child story about a bat. LOL
She is a mix between a Shiba Inu and??? We got her from the humane society She was a puppy mill puppy. But she has a good home here. We have had for four years now. Just didn't do enough projects to put on here and my Angel Blog so I put my cute Stella here.

This was made just for a challenge at Guylous Inimitability blog. This was so fun. The challenge over there is to use an umbrella. I made 2 cards using one of the images she gave us. He is too cute. Neither of the cards are Easter. You'll see that soon.

The challenge this week is bunnies- I love bunnies- they are so cute and boy are fast when my dogs come outside. Too fast for my old and fat dogs. LOL They had a nest under our porch- well until the skunk moved in so we had to kabash that. Love bunnies- love whimsical skunks but not the real ones- PU. Well I hope you like these cards. I made the layout its simple:
Directions-
Take a 8.5 x 11 inch card stock cut it the long way so your paper is 4.25 x 11 inches.

Score at 1.5, 3. 7 inches. fold, decorate. really easy and gives you space to do whatever you want.

So this is another card I made using such an adorable image from Sweet N Sassy. I love all that Korins store has to offer. This is a new card I made on Friday I think. I Used the "wish" from TAC set. This card is made to fit in an regular personal sized envelope. I'm running low on envy's and having a hard time finding them cheap so... Make the card fit the envelope right. I hope you like this card. I think she is adorable. I have made SEVERAL cards with her using almost the same colors but always different card. I can't show the others but I think if you type sweet n sassy you can see them. I have tired to add tags (when I remember) but I have gone back when I had time and marked quite a few. YES I still have more to mark. LOL

So last year I spent a pretty penny purchasing digi images and playing along with free ones and then getting just free ones. I had over 10,000 images. From 2009 -10. My computer was acting really odd- had a bug. I "thought" being key word that I saved this file to a dvd disc because It has room. So today I was looking for some images and realized this file is not so full - could find mo, karen, bugaboo etc. So I say no biggie and pulled out the disc. The disc is corrupted. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
No digis. YEAH!!!

First-

My youngest has a concussion and today went to a specialist. Apparently there are 2 groups of people who get concussions. 1=90% normal about 2 weeks worth of an effect, BUT of course my poor baby- she is the 10% who get it and it last until???? it feels like it wants to leave. She is paying the price- the poor thing. I wish you knew her she is awesome. So she is dragging and I can't help her.

Second-

My poor son is sick. lets hope its just a bad cold.

Third-

like my post yesterday showed- im crabby! I wish it would stop but... life I think. PMS whatever but it needs to go away!

Fourth-

my husband is a state employee and we live in WI and SW is a bold face liar- just saying.

ok on a great note-

My daughter came over and visited today. It was so nice to see her.

I made 3 cards and they turned out ok.

It was sunny!

And well the greatest of all God still loves me even thought I don't deserve it right now.

It's really a good thing he doesn't give me what I deserve. Boy I tell you.

Ok now Ill shut up and show you my card for the challenge over at FOr Fun.

Can you see the mood I was in? lol This is the first card I made in 3 weeks. My mojo left. Its still not back but im trying.

This was made using mu slice for the word "Yikes" I used my cricut embossing folder for the green background. The stamp is from TAC. I used foam to seperate the layers, I color 3 the same then cut apart 2 to decide what I would like to do. It worked! The ribbon is those little spools you buy at JoAnns. I used glitter glue for on the word and the little girl. I also used dimensional for parts.

Oh yeah the challenge at For Fun is colors- Purple, gold and green.

Last week was a anniversary for my 1 year at For fun. So we had a birthday party. The girls made some amazing cards. Here is mine
This is from Stitchy- Puppy love. isn't it cute? I love him. This card is for my soon-to-be-son-in-laws little sister. She was here for New Years eve and she is just too cute. Her birthday is Friday so I used the sketch from For Fun and made this.
