Tooting my horn a bit

I have a brother –in- law in jail. you can NOT have any layers or glitter or… flat 1 layer not to fun card. Well this make making cards a challenge. Now you can do a “masked” card which makes it look like layers (I made one for Valentines) So I have been trying to make his card every holiday for years, he wouldn’t get some and … So I had to BUY cards- I know done call the paper police please. lol So this is another shot at one.

I had just the word Jesus on the card, (yes its an egg) and I didn’t know where to go from that. All of a sudden I heard “saves” I was like hum, then again “saves” I was like OK I GET IT.  So now, hum? how? From behind that you can only see in the light, cool right? So I used my Versamark Marker and did the stencil from behind in reverse and this is what happened, whatcha think? cool right?

This year I decided I didn’t want to make a “Christian” card for Easter.BUT what is Easter is not a Christian holiday. Ok so I didn’t want to make this with a cross or the Jesus ones I have made. I liked the flower, springy ones I have been seeing. It still has a Christian inside but more of a springy feeling on the cover.
This was made with a TAC set and I decorated the envelope too. One the last one I colored it but this one I decided not to (bit o lazy I think).
I entered the following Challenges:
Gingerloft- the color green
Glitter N Sparkle- St. Pats/ Green
Scrappy Frogs- St. Pats/ Green

So come back tomorrow and see some other cool cards I made, one is fuzzy.

Well look at you go with the card making!! I probably should be making Easter cards but with the long list of to-do's not sure it will get done.

Great thinking with the card for your B-I-L ... what a challenge to make a flat, no-frills card... but friend, you nailed it. And your sentiment can be much better, can it! I haven't said it yet, but I love your new blogskin... perfect for the title!
hugs and blessings
